The beginning of an era
Back in the early 1970s, two young pharmacists from Athens, Greece, Kyra Stratigos and her brother George, inspired by the centuries-old cultural traditions of the Mediterranean peoples, researched ways to bring ancient skin care recipes back to life.
Combining their scientific training with the wisdom of health and beauty remedies long forgotten, they started creating highly personalised skin care products based on the most prized of oils, the Olive Oil along with precious, local plant and herb extracts.

Soon, word to mouth brought customers from all over Athens to their pharmacy shop prompting them to expand their sales channels. Eventually, their all natural, vegan cosmetics that included body & face soaps, lotions and creams became the beauty secret of many a Greek households.
